HeyKero

Alternative to Passionfroot

Passionfroot gets you deals. HeyKero runs them.

Last reviewed July 29, 2026

The short answer

Passionfroot and HeyKero solve opposite halves of the same job. Passionfroot is built to get you sponsorships: a public storefront brands can book through, an ad network that sends requests your way, and Stripe payments on top. HeyKero is built to run the sponsorships you already have: a six-stage deal pipeline, the video or newsletter issue that fulfils each deal tracked beside it, and invoices generated from the deal record.

If your problem is not enough inbound, Passionfroot is the better tool and this page will not talk you out of it. If your problem is that you have twelve live deals and cannot remember which invoice is late and which video is behind, that gap is the reason HeyKero exists.

Discovery versus operations

Passionfroot’s centre of gravity is the storefront. You publish your channels, live audience stats and rates, brands browse and book a slot, and the request lands in your inbox pre-qualified. On top of that sits a Partner Network of vetted brands — HubSpot, Notion and Intercom among them — with AI matching that surfaces campaigns fitting your profile. That is a real advantage and HeyKero has no answer to it.

HeyKero assumes the deals already exist. It starts at the point where a brand has emailed you, and its whole surface is about what happens over the following three months: what you agreed, what you owe, when the video ships, whether the invoice went out, and whether the money arrived.

What happens after the booking is confirmed

This is the widest gap between the two. Passionfroot covers the booking and the payment; the production work in between is not modelled. Once a collaboration is confirmed you are back to tracking the script, the film date, the brand review round and the publish date somewhere else.

HeyKero puts a content pipeline next to the deal pipeline and links them. A sponsorship card shows the production stage of the video attached to it, so a brand deadline in two days against a video still in Filming is visible on the deal itself rather than in your memory. No other tool aimed at creators does this, which is the honest reason to look at HeyKero at all.

Where your sponsor email lives

Passionfroot gives you an in-platform inbox so you can message sponsors without leaving the tool, and the brand does not need an account to reply.

HeyKero takes the other approach: every workspace gets a forwarding address, and you forward the brand thread from whichever mailbox you already use. The mail is stored and threaded against the deal, so the negotiation history sits on the deal record instead of in Gmail search. Today you pick the deal to attach a forwarded email to yourself — automatic extraction is built but switched off, and we would rather say so than imply it works.

Which one you should actually pick

Choose Passionfroot if

  • You want more inbound sponsorship requests, especially in B2B, SaaS, productivity or newsletter niches where its network is strongest
  • You want a public page with your rates and live stats that brands can book directly
  • You want invoicing and payment collection handled inside one tool
  • You would rather pay a percentage when money arrives than a monthly subscription
  • You want a product with a track record and thousands of creators already using it

Choose HeyKero if

  • You already have sponsors, and the problem is keeping track of them rather than finding them
  • The video, episode or newsletter issue fulfilling each deal needs tracking next to the deal
  • You have signed category exclusivity and want a warning before taking a competing brand
  • You run more than roughly ten deals at once and want the pipeline to stay legible
  • You want a flat cost that does not grow with the size of your deals

What each one costs

Passionfroot charges creators no subscription at all. On a $5,000 deal you sourced yourself the 5% platform fee is charged to the brand, so you receive the full $5,000. On a $5,000 deal that came through the Partner Network, 15% is deducted and you receive $4,250.

HeyKero is free while it is in beta, and paid pricing has not been announced. Whatever it turns out to be, it is a flat subscription: HeyKero takes no cut of any deal and never sits in the flow of funds.

The two models diverge most if you lean on the Partner Network, where the percentage scales with your deal size — three network-sourced deals of $5,000 in a year is $2,250 in sourcing fees. If all your deals are organic, Passionfroot costs you nothing directly and the choice is about features rather than price.

Moving over

There is nothing to disconnect. Passionfroot does not hold your sponsor relationships hostage, and the two tools do not conflict, so the low-risk move is to keep your storefront live and add your current deals to HeyKero by hand — brand, amount, stage, and the deadline you are most worried about.

There is no import from Passionfroot and no integration between them, so ongoing deals are entered twice if you run both. For most creators that is a few minutes a month, but it is a real cost and worth knowing before you start.

Questions people ask

Is HeyKero a direct replacement for Passionfroot?

Not entirely. Passionfroot includes a public storefront, an ad network that sends you sponsorship requests, and Stripe payment collection. HeyKero has none of those. HeyKero replaces the part of Passionfroot that tracks deals through stages, and adds content production tracking, exclusivity conflict warnings and invoicing that Passionfroot does not have.

Does HeyKero find sponsors for me?

No. HeyKero has no marketplace and no brand network. It is built for creators who already receive sponsorship enquiries and need to manage them. If your main problem is not enough inbound, Passionfroot is the better choice.

How much does Passionfroot cost a creator?

Passionfroot charges creators no subscription. It takes 5% on deals you source yourself, which is charged to the brand so you keep 100% of your listed price, and 15% on deals sourced through its Partner Network, which is deducted from your payout.

Does HeyKero take a percentage of my brand deals?

No. HeyKero never touches your money and takes no cut of a deal. It is free while in beta, and paid pricing has not been announced yet.

Can I use Passionfroot and HeyKero together?

Yes, and for some creators that is the sensible setup. Passionfroot handles the inbound booking and payment layer; HeyKero handles the pipeline, the content that fulfils each deal, and the deadlines after the booking is confirmed. There is no integration between them, so deals are added to HeyKero by hand.

Which is better for a YouTuber juggling ten sponsors at once?

HeyKero, if those sponsors already come to you. Published reviews of Passionfroot report its CRM gets crowded past roughly ten concurrent deals, with no automated stage transitions or follow-up reminders. If you still need help filling those ten slots, Passionfroot earns its keep on the discovery side.

Does Passionfroot track the video I make for a deal?

No. Passionfroot covers the booking and payment layer. Once a collaboration is confirmed, deliverables, scripting, filming and publishing are tracked elsewhere. HeyKero links each deal to a content project and shows its production stage on the deal card.
